HISTORY OF THE ASSOCIAZIONE SAN VITO MARTIRE

The Associazione San Vito Martire (originally called Comitato San Vito Martire) was established in 1978. Starting with 5 members, the committee worked diligently to bring a sculpture of our patron saint to Canada from Italy. With the good will of the San Vito community, a sculpture was commissioned and shipped from Bolzano, Italy to Toronto, Canada. Today, there are 16 committee members.
